Introduction

Being a therapist reflects a core part of me that enjoys helping people identify their own inner strengths and capabilities aimed at living a healthier and happier life. As a therapist, I guide people through personal challenges, help ease emotional burdens, and empower people to heal and thrive in a world that creates space for chaos and unpredictability.

Education and Experience

In 2014, I began my career as a mental health professional whereby I worked with an Indigenous population located in a remote Northern community off the Coast of Labrador. This experience afforded me with an opportunity to encourage, motivate and help empower people of all ages as they navigated their personal mental health struggles. In 2017, I expanded my work as a Counselor as I began my clinical experience at the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in BC. In this particular setting, I worked with clients who experienced significant and complex mental health issues which led them to be involved in the criminal judicial system. In 2018, I began working within the private practice field and this has been a most positive experience for me as I am afforded with the opportunity to work with an array of clients. Currently, I continue to work in private practice and within the field of corrections with clients who struggle with an array of mental health challenges which include Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Relationship Issues, Addictions, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Narcissism.
