Support That Helps You Break The Cycle

Your relationship is one of one, so we get to know you before recommending the right approach. Using the May Method alongside evidence-based therapies, we help you communicate more clearly and less defensively.

  • Developed by our clinical supervisor Damian May, the May Method helps you pinpoint repeating patterns and approach your issues with more in-depth tools than traditional talk therapy can provide.

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy helps you understand the fears, needs, and emotional reactions behind your conflict, so you can feel safer reaching for each other instead of pulling away.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps you uncover the assumptions and reactions that keep your arguments going, giving you practical tools to speak, listen, and problem-solve more effectively.

Support That Helps Both Partners Feel Heard

You both deserve space to speak honestly without feeling blamed, dismissed, or talked over. That’s why couples of all ages come to us to understand the reasons behind their conflict and leave each session feeling closer.

Common Questions From Couples Like You

  • Your first session gives your therapist a chance to learn about your relationship and what each of you wants from counselling. They’ll also have you complete a relationship assessment so your therapist can plan your next sessions around your specific goals.

  • You can book online with any of our therapists who are currently accepting new clients. Availability depends on the therapist and appointment time, but we make it simple to find an option that works for both of you.

  • The number of sessions depends on your relationship, your goals, and your willingness to practice new tools between appointments. Your therapist will talk with you after the first few sessions about what ongoing support may look like.

  • An unsuccessful therapy experience doesn’t mean you’re out of options. We’re the only practice in Canada using the May Method, so we can help you consider your problems in a new way and work toward healthier communication.
